To ensure your Loulène pieces accompany you beautifully through the years, please follow the care instructions on each garment’s label. These guidelines are thoughtfully set by our ateliers to keep your items in their loveliest, original shape.

For creations marked Dry Clean Only, we encourage you to choose eco-conscious dry cleaners who avoid harsh chemicals. Green methods like Wet Cleaning or CO2 Cleaning are wonderful ways to care for both your wardrobe and the earth.

Please note that we are unable to replace or refund items damaged by improper washing. Choosing to deviate from the care label instructions is done at your own discretion.

Breathable Softness

Coton

A natural, breathable embrace to carry you through the day. To preserve the freshness of its texture and the vibrancy of its shade, wash in cold water on a delicate cycle. Air dry in the shade, then iron while still slightly damp to effortlessly smooth the fibers.

Botanical Fabric

Viscose

A fluid, caressing fabric born from nature, designed to drape the body with gentle movement. Care for it by washing inside out in cold water, and avoid a heavy spin cycle. Drying it on a hanger in the open air will beautifully restore its natural fluidity.

Linen

Cherished for its organic texture and effortlessly elegant drape, linen only grows finer and softer with time. Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle, lukewarm cycle with minimal spinning. Reshape while still damp and dry flat. Embrace its lively, natural wrinkles, or give it a light touch of steam.

Wool

A living, delicate fiber that loves the fresh open air. Simply let it breathe between wears to naturally revive its fibers. If washing becomes necessary, opt for a hand wash in cold water using a gentle, specialized wool detergent. Never wring it: gently press it between two towels and dry it flat to preserve its beautiful shape.

Lace & Embroidery

Precious details that demand the utmost softness. To protect these delicate threads, hand wash inside out in cool water, or machine wash on a delicate cycle inside a protective mesh bag. Professional dry cleaning is also recommended. Tumble drying is strictly to be avoided: instead, gently press between two towels and dry flat.
